I leave for Australia in ONE WEEK.

I am WAY excited and starting to get WAY freaked out.
My month off has been about 98% less productive than I'd hoped - remind me never to be both school-less and job-less at the same time again, will ya? A lack of structure coupled with dark winter months has NOT put me in all that great a place, brain-wise. I've been up until 4AM most nights and have been sleeping in late, watching WAY too many re-runs of The Simpsons and Angry Video Game Nerd reviews.
Anyway. I've managed to be not quite entirely a useless lump of a human being over the past little while. I've been cooking and dish-doing and cat-feeding for my folks, and I've gotten to see more of my friends, which is awesome. I also bought Rock Band for the PS2 and have been extremely enjoying playing drums. I'm about to beat the game on hard (unless Run to the Hills trumps me, or We Won't Get Fooled Again. Entirely possible).
AND! I've started a blog for my trip: Cass Down Under. I'll be updating it weekly (maybe a little more often with picture-only posts), and I'll link to it here whenever I do. (That blog is the white bread version of my trip. This blog will likely have the raunchier stuff.) (God, I hope there's raunchier stuff.)
I should mention that this will be my first time ever going overseas. I've flown domestic and I've flown to the States, but I don't know exactly what to expect. If you have any advice/tips/dire warnings, please, pretty please, let me know.

I'm making a call for help about this and a few other issues, so if I'm totally off-base I might have a better answer for you soon. *laughs*
