Back to the grind
Jan. 9th, 2009 01:41 pmMan, I am good at procrastinating. I've been meaning to update this journal for about... what day is this, the ninth? Nine days, then. And while I have been busy travelling and socializing and starting classes and whatnot, my inability to write a journal entry is actually a showcase of my uncanny ability to sit at the computer for three hours and do absolutely nothing of value.
Classes are in full swing again; I have officially started my last semester as an undergrad. Even though I know I'll be going grad school in the near future, it's going to be nice to have this milestone behind me.
I've also continued a trend, in that I switched my courses around after having "settled" on what I was going to take. I have now officially done this every single semester, even the one I spent in Australia.
And what the heck - might as well start the year off with a roaring cold, right? I've sneezed my way through the past day and a half, and due to this and the lousy weather I've missed a couple of my first classes. (Then again, if you're going to miss ANY classes, it might as well be during the first week while everybody's still transferring in and out.) This weekend is going to be all about curling up and recovering while getting some advance reading done, and picking away at some projects like cleaning my room and writing a short play for the theatre company.
I'm going to make a post with some resolutions soon, but I need some time to think about those.
