Greetings from the South Island!

cassaclyzmI'm on the west coast right now, in a town called Greymouth. They actually pronounce it "Grey Mouth," which threw me for a loop, because around this part of the world EVERYTHING is usually abbreviated and pronounced like it has as few vowels as possible. It's a neat little town, but unfortunately the only day I have here is a Sunday, and the entire place is practically deserted.
Tomorrow morning at seven I get a bus that will, after about a day's worth of driving, get me to Queenstown. Where it is, apparently, SNOWING! Fun! I just wish I had better footwear, snow in sneakers isn't fun.
Keep an eye on Cass Down Under, in the next few hours (before I hit the sack NICE and early) I'll be making a post there. Some pics of the North Island and Wellington, as well as a "Name That Scene From Lord of the Rings game! You don't want to miss it, trust me. TRUST me. It's gonna be a hoot.
