I used to be terrified of learning to drive. I think I was processing the activity a bit too literally - y'know, the whole "I am inside a ton of metal that is hurling down the highway only a few feet from oncoming similar hunks of metal at similar speeds." I was taking Physics at the time, so with the velocity and the momentum and... yeah. Over-analyzing, definitely.
But the Driver's Ed course I'm taking seems to be really good, and I'm feeling decidedly more confident these days, thank gawd.
