Passive-aggressive introversion
Dec. 9th, 2008 08:04 pmI like the internet because it allows me to satisfy both my desire to interact with other people AND my desire to curl up by myself somewhere. I'm posty lately, eh? This trend will probably continue through the holiday season (read: break between semesters).
Oh yeah - I submitted the photos today, slightly early so that I wouldn't have to think about them. I decided to send 10 of them rather than five, because most of the top picks were landscapey and I wanted a bit more variety (and partly to ensure that some of them would be appropriate for reproduction in black and white, as well.) Thank you again for your help.
The weather is starting to take a turn and I think it's affecting me somewhat. Unlike many of you I don't typically have symptoms of SAD, but I do have a shift in my mood (usually mostly positive) when the seasons change. Today I am restless and have felt cooped up all day and haven't gotten any work done on my paper. I think I alleviated that somewhat by taking a short walk (and getting my feet SOAKED in the process) - now that I'm back I am feeling like investing myself in some physical projects, like organizing/tidying up my desk space and getting out the christmas tree. Maybe if I do that it'll calm my body down and free up my brain for paper-related application later on.
