In five easy steps:
1) Go to YouTube.
2) Search for "Rock Band [song name] drums [difficulty level]" and select a video that displays the gameplay only. (To make yourself feel really good, pick one that says "five gold stars" or something of the like.)
3) Extend index fingers to create the World's Cheapest Drumsticks (computer desk becomes Reasonably Priced but Already Acquired and Available Drumpad).
4) Tap foot to simulate bass pedal action.
5) Press play on the video and YOU ARE PLAYING ROCK BAND FOR FREE!
Oh sure, you don't have the little things, like a means for telling what score you got or where you made mistakes. But the actual feeling of the game is REMARKABLY similar to playing it. And way more hilarious.
