This is the part where you folks at home get to play along.

So here's the deal:

I'm making gifts for folks for Christmas this year en lieu of buying stuff. I'm knitting some things, and making cards, and I'm dead set on baking some stuff, too. This is where I need your help.


What are your favourite recipes for holiday treats? You can either post the recipe in the comments or link me to it, if you want.

Necessary Criteria:

- Relatively easy to make
- Easy to store and transport (I don't mind stuff that has to stay refridgerated, but I'd prefer if it could go without)
- Doesn't get stale super quick (think: a few days of shelf-life)

Optional Criteria:

- Freezeable
- Mind-blowingly awesome
- Not frighteningly expensive


My family has a few staples (like Hello Dollies), but I'm hoping to branch out a bit and add some variety.
