Weekend Update - a honkin' one

Hello, Journal. Long time no post.

I actually have Things To Talk About today, seeing as how I've had an eventful evening or two this week. ( You're shocked, I can tell. )

I then proceeded to hit every vaguely Halloween-ey store within a three-mile radius (probably literally), collecting various elements of my costume along the way.

"Costume?" You ask. "What costume?"

And my reply is, "Why, Puss in Boots, of course."

Yes. I'm dressing as Puss in Boots for halloween this year. This morning I finished altering my boot-tops, and over the next week I'll be making kitty ears, gloves, and a tail. And a bit of fluffy chest fur. I also need to do a couple of make-up test runs.

Yes, there will be pictures.

At this point, I was pretty sure I'd be heading home for a quiet evening of studying and relaxation. ( Boy, was I wrong. )

And since then I've been working, watching SNL with my folks, watching baseball, sleeping, and working. How has your weekend been?




* I'm also WAY more touchy-feely when I'm drunk. Probably a good reason for me not to get drunk very often.
** We were kind of disappointed - we'd hoped to catch him watching hentai or something.
