So a month or so ago I finally joined a voice acting mailing list, to see if I could get a beat for what the scene is like. And what should come my way but a freakishly ambitious game-mod project that is looking for 130 or so voice acting roles to be filled. (Only about 20% of which are female, but I guess that's to be expected.)
So 2 AM last night found me in front of my computer, doing dramatic readings of lines such as:
I love my life.
[Edit:] I have, as of today, put out my very first load of laundry on my lovely washing line to dry. What a proud day. *sniff* Now, if I could only convince myself to clean my kitchen, as I'd planned, all would be well.
